Harewood Park specialises in the delivery of rehabilitation and care to younger adults who have complex needs. They are not functioning, lack confidence and the ability to make decisions for self with psychological, emotional and behavioural issues.
The client group includes:
- Mental illness, including bi-polar, anxiety and depression
- Mental illness with a mild learning disability
- Short term memory loss i.e. Korsacoffs or accidental brain injury
All clients must be ambulant.
Age range 18–59 years.
Clients cannot be detained under the mental health act but may be subject to Community Treatment or Guardianship Orders.
Exclusions
- Acute mental illness
- Violent and Aggressive behaviour
- Alcohol and Drug Dependence
